Fun and friendly, Pilates Classes for both men and women in Hockley, Leigh and Westcliff, no need to book, just turn up with a mat and a towel and work at your own level under the guidance of an experienced and qualified Instructor, with more than 20 years of experience in the fitness profession.

9.30am - 10.30 ~ Pilates at Hockley & Hawkwell Methodist Church, Main Road, Hockley, SS5 5BE. (car park behind hall)
7.30pm - 8.30 Pilates with mini soft balls and bands ~ Greensward Academy (Dance Studio) Greensward Lane, Hockley, SS5 5HG **
Fridays (Except Bank Holidays)
10-11 am ~ Pilates with Mini Soft Ball & Bands at St Aidans, The Fairway, Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 4QW.
Pilates classes are suitable for all ages and abilities and are pay as you go or payable in a block of six classes. Both ladies and gents are welcome, please bring your own mat and a towel.
* Classes are not always suitable for rehabilitation, these are group classes and although I offer modifications to make exercises suit different levels of ability, they may not be suitable if you have injuries or are currently having treatment.
Please check with your professional practitioner before entering a class (Surgeons, Physio, Chiropractor, or any other specialist) for your own safety and recovery.

Pilates Classes are a safe non impact exercise class working core muscles of the abdomen, back and buttocks consisting of standing work and floorwork on mats, variations are given of each movement for all abilities. Pilates will help improve posture, develop strength, balance and flexibility.
Pilates Gold A slightly more gentle class, where we use chairs to help build confidence with balance and bands for resistance and stretching, this is in addition to working on the floor, so you still need a mat.
Pilates with Mini Soft Ball or Resistance Loop This is a small, non weighted soft ball, which adds challenge and variety to Pilates exercises and the bands can be used to increase resistance, or help with stretches.
No booking required, just turn up. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MAT AND WATER.
